En el encuentro que inició pasadas las 10 de la mañana, en el Salón Club de Oficiales del Palacio Policial, se evalúan las tareas asignadas, logros obtenidos y las medidas para continuar fortaleciendo la seguridad en el país.
En compañía de la vicepresidenta Peña, están presentes los ministros, de Defensa, teniente general Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa; de la Presidencia, Joel Santos Echavarría; de Interior y Policía, Jesús Vásquez Martínez; el director general de la Policía Nacional, mayor general Eduardo Alberto Then; el comandante general del Ejército de República Dominicana, mayor general Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre; el comandante de la Armada de República Dominicana, vicealmirante, Agustín Alberto Morillo Rodríguez , general Julio César Betances Hernández, subjefe de la PN, el presidente de la Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD), vicealmirante José Manuel Cabrera Ulloa.
