Una cantante de música mexicana fue asesinada a balazos por su esposo en un restaurante de Ciudad de México, informaron este viernes autoridades locales.
Yrma Lydia, que iniciaba su carrera en la música, se encontraba la noche del jueves en un exclusivo restaurante del sur de la megaurbe cuando fue agredida por su pareja.
«Un hombre le disparó a su esposa en tres ocasiones, él ya se encuentra detenido junto con otra mujer que lo acompañaba», informó Omar García Harfuch, secretario de Según testigos, tras una seguridad de Ciudad de México, en Twitter.
El agresor habría pretendido sobornar a policías para que lo dejaran escapar en compañía de uno de sus guardias de seguridad, que también fue detenido.
Según el diario El Universal, Yrma Lydia había participado en algunas presentaciones de Grandiosas 12, una serie de conciertos en México y Estados Unidos que reúne a reconocidas cantantes, como la venezolana María Conchita Alonso y las mexicanas Dulce y Alicia Villareal.
La violencia de género se ha recrudecido en México en los últimos años con un promedio de diez mujeres asesinadas diariamente.
