Este sábado, tres rehenes israelíes Ohad Ben Ami, Eli Sharabi y Or Levy fueron liberados por Hamás en la Franja de Gaza y entregados al Comité Internacional de la Cruz Roja (CICR) en Deir al-Balah.
Posteriormente, fueron trasladados a Israel para recibir atención médica. Durante su cautiverio de más de un año, los rehenes aparecieron visiblemente desnutridos y demacrados.
El primer ministro israelí, Benjamín Netanyahu, condenó el trato recibido por los rehenes y advirtió que las imágenes de su estado de salud “no quedarán sin respuesta”. Además, destacó que Hamás ha violado repetidamente el acuerdo de alto el fuego en Gaza.
Este intercambio de rehenes es parte de un esfuerzo más amplio para reducir la tensión en la región. En paralelo, Israel ha liberado a 183 prisioneros palestinos, algunos de los cuales requieren atención médica inmediata debido a su estado de salud.
