República Dominicana. – El titular de la Secretaría de Energía y Minas del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), Gaddis Corporan, denunció este martes que las tandas de apagones que reciben los dominicanos es «a causa de la negligencia, ineptitud y la falta de voluntad del gobierno de Luis Abinader y el Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM).
«Anunciar al país que da pena como cada día el pueblo dominicano se vuelve pobre y aún más pobre y sufre los constantes y prolongados apagones a causa de la negligencia, ineptitud y la falta de voluntad del gobierno de Luis abinader y el PRM», dijo Corporan durante una rueda de prensa.
«Un gran problema es la alta facturación eléctrica por un servicio que no se recibe. Y es que, una ama de casa que antes en promedio pagaba RD$800 por la factura eléctrica, hoy debe disponer de RD$1.300 para pagar la misma».
«Esto sumado a los micros, pequeños y medianos empresarios, pues tienen que asumir préstamos para poder comprar inversores y plantas eléctricas para poder operar sus negocios», agregó el titular.
Durante el encuentro con la prensa Gaddis Corporan afirmó que «han vuelto la quema de gomas en los barrios del Gran Santo Domingo y en el resto de las provincias del país en reclamo de que se mantengan las 24 horas de energía que ya eran una etapa lograda durante los gobiernos del PLD».
«Pero lo grande es que el pueblo no tiene quien le escuche, pues clama a un gobierno indolente, inhumano y que hace caso omiso a los reclamos», lamentó.
Asimismo, aseguró que las Edes solo son eficientes en aumentar el gasto corriente, aumentando una cifra récord en 2022 de 512 millones de dólares lo que significa un aumento de 68 millones de dólares comparado con el 2020.
