La mandataria de Perú, Dina Boluarte, comparecerá este 27 de septiembre ante el Ministerio Público (Fiscalía), que investiga su supuesta responsabilidad en la muerte de civiles durante las protestas contra su Gobierno.
«Programar la diligencia de ampliación de declaración indagatoria de Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra para el día 27 de septiembre de 2023, a las 9.00 horas [14.00 GMT]», reza la notificación cursada por el Ministerio Público, en cuya sede central tendrá lugar el procedimiento.
Esta será la segunda oportunidad en que la jefa de Estado se presenta a una diligencia por esta investigación: la primera tuvo lugar el 6 de junio, cuando Boluarte respondió algunas preguntas de la fiscalía, aunque guardó silencio frente a las interrogantes de la Procuraduría General del Estado y las defensas de las víctimas.
El fin de la la investigación es establecer la responsabilidad de Boluarte en las muertes de civiles durante las manifestaciones contra el Gobierno y el Congreso, llevadas a cabo entre diciembre de 2022 y febrero de 2023.
Según datos de la Defensoría, en las manifestaciones fallecieron 61 personas. De ese total, 49 civiles murieron en enfrentamientos con las fuerzas del orden, 11 fallecieron por acciones indirectas causadas por las protestas, y un policía perdió la vida presuntamente a manos de manifestantes.
En las protestas, los ciudadanos exigían la salida de Boluarte y de los miembros del actual Congreso a través del adelanto de elecciones generales.
