Santo Domingo .- La Policía Nacional informó este jueves que un reconocido delincuente que era perseguido por distintos hechos delictivos y criminales, cayó abatido la mañana de hoy en el sector La Chinola, Los Guaricanos, Santo Domingo Norte, al enfrentar agentes de la institución que le daban seguimiento con fines de arresto.
Se trata del reconocido delincuente apodado «La Pempa», quien era buscado de manera activa mediante la orden de arresto en su contra No. 973-EMES-2023-01763.
Los cargos contra el señalado antisocial son por violación a las disposiciones de los artículos 265, 266 y 379 del Código Penal Dominicano, al igual de varios hechos delictivos como asalto a mano armada.
“La Pempa”, conforme a los reportes preliminares, atacó a tiros a los agentes actuantes, quienes se vieron en la necesidad de repeler la agresión.
La Policía Nacional dijo que amplia las investigaciones, por lo que oportunamente ofrecerá mayores detalles.
