La Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) respondió a la duda de si los niños deberían usar mascarilla, ante la pandemia del Covid-19. Informaron que los niños de 12 años o más deberían utilizarlas tal como haría un adulto; los niños entre 6-11 años podrían portarlas en caso de estar expuestos a conglomeración; los menores a 5 años no necesitan utilizarla.
