La asimismo, la Policía Nacional no es del Cuerpo Especializado en Seguridad Fronteriza Terrestre (CESFRONT) pero se ve obligada a operar en la frontera.
En todas las fiestas bailan los policías con música y sin música.
Mientras la dominicana Cristina Martínez, quien padece problemas mentales permanece desaparecida, la Dirección General de Migración se desvincula del caso afirmando que no fueron empleados de esa entidad los que la detuvieron y le tira la papa caliente a la Policía Nacional asegurando que fueron agentes de la uniformada los que llevaron a cabo la detención.
