El presidente colombiano, Gustavo Petro, inaugura hoy la Conferencia Internacional sobre el Proceso Político en Venezuela, un encuentro internacional que buscará soluciones para reanudar las conversaciones suspendidas en Ciudad de México, entre el Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro y la facción radical opositora, conocida como ‘Plataforma Unitaria’.
«20 países con sus cancillerías ya están en Bogotá para participar en la Conferencia Internacional sobre Venezuela que hará recomendaciones al Gobierno y la oposición venezolana con el fin de llegar a una decisión libre y soberana del pueblo», indicó Petro a través de Twitter.
Petro expresó previamente que esta cita debe trabajar en función del desarrollo de una balanza entre «dos rieles» transversales: elecciones con todas las garantías para 2024 y el cese de las sanciones contra Caracas.
