Este sábado falleció a sus 31 años de edad el lanzador estadounidense Matt Pobereyko, quien había formado parte del plantel de la Selección Mexicana que disputó la Serie del Caribe 2023 en Caracas, Venezuela.
Su equipo, los Algodoneros de Guasave, fueron los primeros en confirmar la información con el siguiente mensaje:
“Con la consternación y sorpresa que nos causa esta triste noticia, todo el personal del Club de Beisbol Algodoneros de Guasave nos unimos para elevar oraciones por el eterno descanso de nuestro compañero Matt Pobereyko. ¡Descansa en paz Rey del Ponche!”, señaló el equipo.
