El Servizo Galego de Saúde (Sergas) informó que el escritor español Domingo Villar falleció este miércoles en el Hospital Álvaro Cunqueiro de Vigo, donde fue ingresado el pasado lunes tras sufrir un infarto cerebral.
La editorial Siruela confirmó el hecho a través de su cuenta en Twitter. Villar era uno de los escritores gallegos más reconocidos, con sus libros traducidos a varios idiomas, pero destacó por revolucionar la novela negra española; gracias a su obra, fue uno de los galardonados con el premio Vigués Distinguido este año.
