República Dominicana.- Los Leones del Escogido, Estrellas Orientales y Tigres del Licey salen al ruedo esta noche en busca de asumir el segundo lugar del torneo de béisbol otoño- invernal 2021-22.
Los conjuntos poseen marca de tres ganados y dos perdidos, durante los primero cincos partidos celebrados de la justa campeonato dedicado al fenecido general (ERD) Kalil Haché.
Los Leones del Escogido visitará hoy a las Águilas Cibaeñas, que comandan el primer lugar de la tabla de posición con cuatro ganados y uno perdido.
Mientras que el Licey recibirá la visita de los Toros del Este (1-4) y Los Gigantes del Cibao, también con (1-4), viajarán a la casa de las Estrellas Orientales.
El presidente de la Liga Dominicana de Béisbol, Vitelio Mejía Ortiz, valoró el inicio de uno de los principales pasatiempos nacionales.
“Evidentemente el torneo ha tenido un buen inicio, los equipos han podido integrar a sus novenas, jugadores importantes desde el comienzo y el público ha respondido con entusiasmo apoyando el evento y sus respectivos equipos”, manifestó Mejía Ortiz.
