República Dominicana. – La Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) y el Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Aeroportuaria, (CESAC), coordinados por miembros del Ministerio Público, incautaron 119 paquetes de cocaína, en un operativo de inspección conjunto, desarrollado en el Aeropuerto Internacional de las Américas, JFPG.
Los agentes de la DNCD, organismos oficiales y unidades caninas, verificaban decenas de equipajes que llegaron a la terminal de las Américas, en un vuelo comercial, procedente de Cali, Colombia, cuando detectaron sustancias extrañas en tres maletas, comenzando de inmediato el protocolo de inspección.
En presencia de un fiscal se abrieron los equipajes facturados, pero que no fueron reclamados al llegar al país, encontrando en una primera maleta 40 paquetes, en la segunda igual cantidad y en la tercera otros 39, para un total de 119 paquetes.
«La droga tuvo un peso de 123.05 kilogramos de cocaína, determinó un análisis del Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Forenses (INACIF)».
El Ministerio Público y la DNCD profundizan en la investigación en torno al caso, y como parte de ese proceso, están en contacto permanente con sus homólogos en Colombia, para ampliar la investigación y establecer quienes enviaron las maletas desde ese país al Aeropuerto de las Américas.
