República Dominicana. – Se mantendrán 13 provincias en alerta amarilla y aumentan a 14 las en verde por posibles crecidas de ríos, arroyos y cañadas, así como inundaciones repentinas o urbanas, debido a que los efectos de una vaguada continuarán generando nublados y aguaceros con tormentas eléctricas, informó el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia (COE).
Las provincias en alerta amarilla son:
Santiago Rodríguez, Santiago, La Vega, Valverde, Sánchez Ramírez, Santo Domingo, María Trinidad Sánchez, Elías Piña, Duarte, Monseñor Nouel, San José de Ocoa, Distrito Nacional, Monte Cristi (espacialmente: Martín García, Guayabito y Rincón, Manga, Cruce de Manga).
Mientras que en alerta verde están:
Monte Plata, Dajabón, Hermanas Mirabal, Puerto Plata, Espaillat, San Pedro de Macorís, La Altagracia, San Juan, Hato Mayor, Azua, El Seibo, Samaná, San Cristóbal y La Romana.
El COE recomienda a las personas abstenerse de cruzar ríos, arroyos y cañadas que presenten alto volúmenes de agua y no hacer uso de balnearios (ríos), en las provincias bajo alerta.
