Armenia y Azerbaiyán reportaron este martes intensos combates fronterizos que cobraron la vida de soldados azerbaiyanos, en el más reciente enfrentamiento entre estos dos países rivales.
«A las 00H05 del martes (22H05 CET de lunes) Azerbaiyán lanzó un bombardeo intenso con artillería y armas de gran calibre contra puestos militares armenios», indicó el ministerio de Defensa de Armenia.
Acotó que Azerbaiyán también utilizó drones.
Pero el ministerio de Defensa azerbaiyano acusó a Armenia de «actos subversivos a gran escala» cerca de la frontera, y agregó que sus posiciones militares «fueron atacadas, incluso con morteros de trinchera».
«Hay bajas entre los soldados (azerbaiyanos)», agregó, sin dar cifras. «Como resultado, hay pérdidas de personal y daños en infraestructura militar», señaló el ministerio.
