Puerto Rico. – La joven motociclista Jennieann Marie Lúgaro Maldonado, de 22 años, pereció trágicamente anoche cuando un individuo que manejaba “wheeliando” un “four track” le invadió el carril, estrellándose contra la motora que conducía en vía franca.
El choque ocurrió a eso de las 7:35 de la noche en el kilómetro 8.4 de la carretera PR-132, en el sector Loyola del barrio Santo Domingo, en Peñuelas.
La Policía identificó al conductor que presuntamente provocó el choque como Nek Maldonado Luna, quien conducía un “four track” Honda, modelo CRF 250R, color blanco del año 2014, en contra del tránsito con las gomas delanteras levantadas.
La joven conducía una motora Vento, modelo 200. Debido al impacto, indicó la Policía, la joven perdió el control y cayó al pavimento, sufriendo heridas de gravedad que le causaron la muerte en el lugar.
El hombre que causó el accidente fue reconocido como Maldonado Luna, quien fue transportado por paramédicos de Emergencias Médicas a una institución hospitalaria en condición delicada. También, se ordenó la toma de sangre para la prueba de detección de alcohol en su organismo
