El ministro de Economía de Argentina, Sergio Massa, anunció este miércoles un paquete de medidas para los trabajadores del campo y las economías regionales, afectadas severamente por la sequía que repercute en el país sudamericano.
Es un programa que busca incentivar las exportaciones ofreciendo un tipo de cambio diferencial y temporal para una serie de complejos agroindustriales, entre ellos el sojero, al que se denominó ‘dólar agro’.
El ‘dólar agro’ tendrá un valor de 300 pesos argentinos, cuando la cotización oficial de este 5 de abril es de 217,50 pesos por un dólar estadounidense. Esto incentivaría a los productores de granos a liquidar sus cosechas, que muchas veces son retenidas a la espera de una devaluación para obtener mejores ganancias.
El año pasado, Massa dispuso un plan similar con el llamado ‘dólar soja’, un tipo de cambio diferencial pero solo para los productores de esa oleaginosa.
El Programa de Incremento Exportador se implementará mediante tres decretos presidenciales y se extenderá desde el 8 de abril hasta el 24 de mayo para la cadena sojera, y entre el 8 de abril y el 7 de julio para las exportaciones de economías regionales.
