Toronto. – Luego de un inicio titubeante, los Toronto Raptors se impusieron con soltura en casa a los Miami Heat 106-92 lo que les ubica en el noveno puesto de la Conferencia Este, con el mismo porcentaje de victorias que los octavos, los Atlanta Hawks.
La victoria ante los Heat, séptimos de la Conferencia es importante para el equipo canadiense. A los de Toronto les quedan seis partidos a jugar en la temporada regular: Philadelfia 76ers, Charlotte Hoernets (2), Boston Celtics (2) y Milwaukee Bucks.
Lo que significa cuatro partidos contra los tres primeros clasificados de la Conferencia Este.
Luego de ganar a los Heat en la noche del martes, los Raptors tienen las mismas victorias y derrotas que los Hawks, que hoy se impusieron a los Cleveland Cavaliers de Ricky Rubio.
Tanto los Raptors como los Heat tienen dos victorias más que los Chicago Bulls, el décimo equipo de la tabla y por tanto el que ocupa la última posición para el ‘play in’. Lo Hawks están séptimos con 40 victorias y 36 derrotas, un porcentaje de .526.
