El primer ministro haitiano, Ariel Henry, pidió calma y llamó al diálogo este lunes, en medio de protestas masivas que exigen su dimisión luego del aumento de los combustibles.
Mediante un mensaje a la nación, Henry llamó a todas las partes implicadas a sentarse «juntas a dialogar» para conseguir llegar a «una salida a la crisis que atraviesa el país desde hace varios años».
«Juntos podemos resolver los problemas. Entiendo vuestra frustración. Comparto el dolor de las víctimas, de aquellos que han perdido los bienes que construyeron durante decenas de años», comentó el primer ministro, según recoge el diario Le Nouvelliste.
Su alocución se produce después de que la semana pasada anunciase en otro discurso un aumento drástico en el precio de los productos derivados del petróleo.
