REPÚBLICA DOMINICANA. Un robo de 37 millones de pesos, unos 633,000.00 dólares fue perpetrado en las oficinas de la Junta Central Electoral de la ciudad de Santiago, República Dominicana. El dinero era para ser utilizado en las labores de las elecciones del próximo 5 de julio. La policía tiene detenido a los cuatro seguridad que estaban de servicio en el momento que se realizó el robo. Hace una semana que fue sustraído parte del cableado eléctrico de las oficinas de esa institución.
